What exactly is the procedure for claiming a campsite? I sent an email with my team's registration and another when I got that reminder email a few weeks back. We'll be getting to the fields pretty late Friday night - how do we figure out where to camp? Apologies if this is obvious and I'm just dense

I also would like to know how we figure out where we are camping. When I registered I sent an e-mail requesting a spot but have not heard anything. I would also like to know if the rest Of Tyrell can camp near me.
Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I'll be playing with OFU this weekend, but I won't be there Friday night. I was planning on sleeping in the back of my car Saturday night (for at least a few hours). I'd prefer to have my vehicle near the "Team camp", but it's not necessary. Do any special arrangements need to be made for this? From my understanding from Slacker, we quit playing a bit after midnight and start up again in the morning, correct?

What Ronn usually does is section off areas of the parking lot/field and he then assigns teams to a quadrent or two for your team to use....pack tight you will need it. But the bonus is you know where you will be, you have a designated area, and it is all yours!

My pleasure Ronn, I think this system works pretty darn well, I just wish the camping field was a little flatter...

How are you doing wood for fire rings? Are you selling/supplying wood? or do we bring our own... or do we just scavenge for dead branches and stuff

Fire Rings are available on a first come first serve basis but there are a good amount of them.
While you may be able to scrounge some wood I think bringing your own is your best bet.
It was good to play with you guys at Skyline. Looking forward to seeing you at Splat Brothers!

I agree with Chowda, Bring at least some with you....with this many people scrounging will be pretty tough, especially finding stuff suitable to fit in the ring.

AND
Please do not "scrounge" any of the SplatBrothers lumber from the adjacent lumber yard. Burning future bunkers is baaaad.

Sigh!! Killjoy. LOL ;D
On another note, as I mentioned earlier I hope to have my camera with me. I intend on rolling through the campsites on Friday or Saturday to get pictures of all the teams I can. I will also try and take pictures at the party Friday Night.
Now I just need to remember to bring the camera. Sadly you don't know how hard that part is for me. Ahh senility

There are plenty of dead branches on the ground for the taking. Please leave the ones on the trees where they are.
Once again, while scrounged limbs are about, please make sure you bring at least some with you.
Thanks!
