Now about the weather......Man it was hot. It's only May! This is gonna be a long summer season! The"House Band" had a blast yesterday. Its always best to play alongside our friends on the home field. Ronn and Don, Nice job Guys! The game went as smooth as silk. You guys are getting too good at this. Many thanks go to our good friends and the worlds greatest sponsors - THE SPLATBROTHERS! Dustin, William, Dylan, Kyle, Ronnie, Joe, Daniel, Sam, Carl, Justin, James and the rest of the park staff. Thank you for all you do. It's a thankless job but you guys pull it off with style. PooPoo - You did a heck of a job. You led the troops to a well deserved victory (albeit a close one) You really seemed to be having fun out there. We thank you for the Most Valuable team award. We are honored. It was great to finally play alongside you. Merdock - Great job! I know how tough it can be for young generals to lead their troops. You did very well though and we hope to see you generalling again soon. Sorry for sending the goons to bust you up 3 minutes in.........it's just part of the show. To the Trojans - YES!! OFU, VA Rush, Mosby's Raiders, and all the walk ons - you did a great job! A hard fought victory! It was our honor to share the field with you all To the Spartans - What a fight! Social Hazard, Affliction, SoVa and others, you put up some tough opposition. You played with a lot of determination and made us fight hard for it! Nice work. With that, Assault & Battery, the Splatbrothers House Band, puts another fine Splatbrothers Classics scenario game to bed. We had alot of fun and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Great game and great times with all our friends on the worlds best paintball field. Thanks everyone!

Had a blast Poo Poo and enjoyed learning the XO role with you and Corndog and Joes help. Now I have an idea what the generals and XO's have to go through with these games and understand it's a tough job....and man as hot as it was the inside of the CP was a sauna the June,July and August games must be brutal. Thanks to Sam and the snack shack for keeping us hydrated! Great game for all teams who played Saturday and all the walk-ons. And when Ronn and Don remind us that Splat Bros. has the best ref crew out there it is no exaggeration they not only provide a safe playing enviroment but are always there to make the correct and fair game calls.

SoVa would like to thank everyone involved with this event. This was a brutally HOT game. Let it never be said that the players at SplatBrothers do not love their respected Generals! We witnessed though out the day both Red and Blue players "Soldier" on, even though the energy had completely been depleted from their bodies early on in the day. Looks on faces from both teams during hydration breaks said "Lets stay parked in the shade for awhile..." while the hearts said " LETS GO! GET BACK OUT THERE AND CAUSE SOME MORE DAMAGE!". The hearts won out as players trudged back out to the lines time after time to offer support where they could. Tempers flared rarely...but were checked almost as fast for the good of the game. What a GREAT group of people we have at our extended SplatBrothers Family!
MikeyPoo and Merdoc, you and your groups were decisive, commanding, and determined. It is always a game worth playing when everyone wants a victory badly enough to make personal sacrifices, and continues to press home the attack through adversities such as weather, gear issues, offensive/defensive strengths and numbers, and field positions being won or lost. Both of you as Generals worked diligently to make sure your players were prepared, having fun, playing safely ("hydrate, hydrate, hydrate"), and that each player was involved in the game on a personal level regardless of their past experience in the sport. These are signs of GREAT Generals. Congratulations to both of you on a fine FINE event.

Another great game put on by the Splatbrother family, thank you Ronn,Donn, and the whole Ref staff. I second what VooDoo said above. Everyone played their hearts out on both sides while battling the heat, a sign of true paintballers. To the Spartans: you guys put up one hell of a fight, Sova was sneaky as always, Social Hazard was everywhere(thanks for on the welts), and to all the Spartans" Great GAME". Merdoc you did a great job and maybe next time VA RUSH will run with you. Trojans: Great job to all the teams and congrats to A&B on their award as well as to Scottie for young gun(proud of you son). Mikey poo and Don, great job in leading the troops to a great victory. See everyone next month at Treasure Island

Thanks Mikeee. We appreciate the props.
It was great running with you yesterday. I enjoyed clearing out the back of Cheeseburger, Cheeseburger, The Towers, and The Village all in one run. It was a lot of fun. I'll be your wingman anytime, Buddy.
Still feel bad about shooting that cardinal in the back woods but to be honest he scared the wizz out of me!

Nope but scaring the wizz out of me should be.
He managed to escape. I didn't kill it. He wiped and played on.......
