Does anybody have any reviews of Proto markers, like the SLG, the Rail, PMR? are any worth picking up?

i just sold a pm7 to fund my phantoms, and i have to say i loved it. i will eventually get another. older pmr's suck 09's are decent. 09 slg's are decent.
i have heard alot of negativity towards dp markers. even though smart parts is the satan incarnate of paintball, they do have decent markers. look for an 07 evil minion they are a private label pm7 should be able to get a used one for around 200 and they are great. one bad thing about any spoolie, is get used to changing o rings i think mine had 15 orings on the bolt alone.

i used peguins pm7 during hot3r. and i must say it was great. very light, and quiet. that is a BIG plus at night. i was camping in maze when two red players walked by. i spyed them both with nvgs and picked one off. when i looked at the other one through the nvgs i could tell he didnt have a clue where the heck i was.

Hmmm... and when did you come by a set of NVGs? I thought you didn't get much use out of them?

I own a DM4, DM6, and a DM 7. I like each of them equally. Dye's tend to need some lovin' to keep them in top shape and happy, so proper upkeep and what not is a must, with no "I'll clean and lube it tomorrow" attitudes from the user. If the marker is understood by the owner...they will treat you right, but it can be a love-hate relationship at times. They can be fussy, but i do like them ALOT
