As per the great Twister...
"It is great to see all of you campers coming out for this event... Just as a head's up there is NO open fires/ open burning till after 4PM and YOU MUST USE AN ABOVE GROUND FIRE PIT OR FIRE RING. If you have any questions please call on at 804.452.2566...
-Twister "
We will have a limited number of fire rings available free of charge. First come first serve.

Yes. all fires must be out by 12 midnight. This means you will NOT be allowed to keep it past 12 even if you promise, Give your word of honor, cross your heart and hope to die that you will not add any logs to it and you will stay up to make sure that it burns all the way out.

Matt, the "open" fire burn law includes those spiffy covered fire pits as well. An example of a non-open fire would be that of a coleman stove.

As a former Fire Marshall, the law is the law and I hate a brush or forest fire. Tickets can be expensive.
