Cold Harbor; one of American history's bloodiest, most lopsided battles. Thousands of Union soldiers wasted in a hopeless frontal assault against fortified Confederate troops. Grant said "I have always regretted that the last assault at Cold Harbor was ever made, no advantage whatever was gained." If i recall, Cold Harbor was one of the few if not only battle where Grant and Lee actually squared off on the battlefield It didn't turn out to be a good showing for Grant either, as not only did it hurt him in terms of numbers, but was a major blow for the moral of his men, and brought much criticism from the Northern states, leaving him to be known as the "fumbling butcher".

I will be taking a walk to part of the cold harbor series of battle fields the night before this game to reflect on how mowing face really was in those days . I will then come to splatbrothers, and talk to trapper about back when he was a youth in the civil war.

Oh Kouza ... that is low, even for you ... ;D
Regretfully, I will be departing for Louisville Kentucky for the National Pumper and Onsite show and will be gone the entire week to the following weekend.
So, when you walk the Cold Harbor battlefields, just look for the little historical placards that say "Trapper Was Here" ...

Trapper, did they read your letters in the Ken Burns documentary?
"I recall that it was here, on this glorious field, that I did mow faces with the best, but youthful of men. However those days are gone now, the paint has all dried, and I am left with the memories of those trials and tribulations behind those bunkers.
-Trapper"
