I have been out of state for a few weeks, but I see no change has been made in the status of our videos. This has gone on for long enough. Lufen has the right approach, we give them to the end of the week to reply to him. Then it's a barage of emails requesting the same information, all done politely of course.

"Supposedly they are at the warehouse. Here is the number to call (757-357-0135) and the email is (shipping@firstcallpaintball.com)
Try those avenues as I have exhausted all of mine. "
I believe Twister gave you the route to take last week. Sounds like he is fed up with it to.

monkeybusiness, unfortunately, it is not that easy. As SplatBrothers was the party that collected the funds towards these videos, they will continue to see responses and comments. All of the players appreciate the work that guys like Twister and Lufen are doing, we are just using this page as our sounding post.
I am concerned that First Call Paintball may have gotten in over their head with this one. I do not see any references on their site that states they do video recording of events. And this was a pretty big one by Virginia standards. A simple, response to emails or calls would be greatly appreciated.
And will someone please turn on the A.C. it's even to hot to 'ball right now. ATA is looking forward to a great Fall season to include all the Paintball Parks in South Eastern Virginia.

Just a quick update, I sent an email to First Call on Wednesday. I received a reply within an hour asking for names of the people that ordered the video. I verified names on my end, and got a response on Thursday verifying the names from their end and a statement saying the videos were being sent to the person, and apology for any trouble. Robert is the contact person, he is taking on this task and doing what looks to me to be a pretty good PR job of getting it taken care of. Send a polite email still, as this has been a rough spell for all of us, politeness makes things go smoother all the time.
Now....ON TO DOMINATION!!!! Politeness be damned! Kouza, ATA is still smarting after the spanking we took..It was fun though.

Ok, now, my guys have theirs, came in today. Calling or Emailing First Call Paintball, and giving Robert your name will get things moving quicker than sitting around complaining. Let's give feedback on the quality of the video now, so far the first review was not good. The production group is not going to get better unless we, the players, do a "constructive" critique. Keep it clean, and usefull, as other production companies may base their desire to come to this venue based on the attitudes of the players that ourchase the items.

That's basically my point. We want to get the people back to Splat, and back to paintball in general. Unfortunately, I got a second review this morning, the video was watched last night by the MVT Captain of Hellstorm, Falcon from ATA, and he was not impressed. With the amount of time and trouble it took toget the video he expected more action and it just was not there. 15 minutes of Awards ceremony, and 30 minutes of just boring video.
My suggestion to First Call, and to anyone else wanting to do videos of paintball scenarios, invest in the finished product. If you want a good video, take a cue from Oxyfide of Social Hazard, buy a good set of HD cameras, issue them out to players, gather them up at the end of each day for a data dump and compile a video. Simple plan, awesome result. Has anybody really had any problems with Oxy's videos?

And I agree about the DVD, some native audio would have been nice. But my fiance did get her 15 seconds of fame. That made me happy ;D
