Just wanted to take a moment before the final countdown till game day gets going to say to everyone on both teams how much (as always...) I have enjoyed the experiance we have shared poking some good natured fun at one another here in these forums. I realize that it must look like pretty serious name calling and such to those whom have not been exposed to such pre-game warm ups before, but rest assured that it is all out of love for the game, and with the highest respect to all of the players involved.
Its our way of "pshycing" up for a great day of paintball....and getting into the spirit of the event. These guys are the best all around people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, and I am proud of the fact that we can take shots at one another in this enviroment, with everyone understanding that it is all about having good times, and knowing that when it is all over....we are out there shaking hands, congradulating one another, and putting it all away until the next game at SplatBrothers.
The players who are at one another the hardest are more than likely to be team mates at next months scenario, and cat calling those who stood beside them and fought bravely during last weeks game. It takes a rare group of people to be able to successfully pull something like this off...and it shows how close of a family we all really are. I am proud to know each and every one of you.
Otto....best of luck to you and your crew. I hope you guys have a great day on the 16th (remember, there is no shame in losing to a vastly superior fighting force such as the Japanese!).
Spudcrazy.... Anarchy is glad to once again be able to stand next to you and your group as part of the Japanese team, and proud to serve under your guidance and experiance. Its always a pleasure. Im thinking of selling T-shirts at the American dead-box that say "I was a Marine at SplatBrothers "Okinawa"...and all I won was this lousy T-shirt!". Lol!!!!
Thanks everyone...its been a blast!
*We now return you to your regularly scheduled SMACK-TALK*
