Team Assault & Battery would like to send a big thank you to all teams we played for and against at RAW Operation Starlite. First off is Splatbrothers Paintball Parc. In particular Ronn and Don. You guys are a class act. Producing and pulling off safe and fun games that we the players enjoy. Team Assault & Battery is always honored to represent Virginia's greatest Paintball Venue. Work on the weather though To the ref crew and parc staff. Thank you very much. You are the unsung heroes of these games and we appreciate you. To the Americans.........Order Thru Chaos, BeBop, Krisis, The Rats, Black River Wolverines, and all the rest..........you guys were relentless. We got pounded. Great Game To the Vietnamese.........Anarchy, Old Man Militia, Operation Foxtrot Uniform, The Virginia Irregulars, Dyslexic Pirates, Dead Reckoning, and more. We thank you. For busting your butts and showing a less experienced team how things are done. We appreciated all your efforts and look forward to playing with you all again. To Seek and Destroy..............the wrench in the works. You played your parts well and made it interesting. Nice job. We enjoyed playing with and against you. We can't wait for the next scenario game at Splatbrothers and the chance to 'ball with all of our friends. We as a team continue to learn through trial and error experience. We look forward to our next lesson.

Thanks Ronn and Don for a great game. We had a blast! But seriously, next time, I expect the A/C to be on. lol. Boy, it was HOT! I guess that's preperation for Blanding later this month....
Just wanted to say thanks to the players for the great display of integrity. I don't think I questioned anybodies honesty all day. THat's always a plus. Also, thanks to the refs. They werw all over the place despite the heat. Good job guys. I saw one ref, Rick, run and jump over a fence about 3 feet high to check a player. That's dedication.

I really thought this game was great. Thanks for another wonderful event. I guess I have to go back now in June and see how hot it gets then.
How come the RATS never get any appreciation? I should join a different team....

Just to echo what the others are saying, this was a great game...as always at Splatbrothers. Intergrity was top notch, as was the teamwork on the Marine side. Thanks to our teammates and the opponents!
Lastly, thanks to Ronn and Don for hosting these RAW series games. As we all know paintball is an expensive hobby and this RAW series is a tremendous value in money and value for those of us who seek out great places to play and great players to play with and against.
Wait..the RATS are a team? I thought we were just a gang-ish type organization. ;D

As we all know paintball is an expensive hobby and this RAW series is a tremendous value in money and value for those of us who seek out great places to play and great players to play with and against. Perfectly said Severe!!!! Team OldManMilitia had a blast even through the heat...(Although, thanks to the bad weather and calling the final battle, I don't know if any of us old guys could have survived the final battle ). As usual, Ronn and Don and the rest of the parc staff, you put on an excellent event. I might also want to add, the paint shot great!!!! Congrats to my buddies on Assault&Battery for the well deserve MFO, and OFU for the well deserved MVT for the Vietnamses side...and to the Wolverines and OTC for their awards, along with the individual awards handed out. Great job fellas. And to all the teams and walk-ons that showed up, what a great game. Never ending, fearless battles and great sportsmanship abound. To Seek&Destroy, well heck, what can I say, you definitely proved the "destroy" part of your name ;D!!! You guys are awesome. A special thanks and congratulations to the two greatest generals the scenario world could ever ask for, Coyote and LilJohn, what a game, you two kept it close as the score revealed. I'd be honored to play for either one of you guys anytime you call!!!. Shrub, you held the Vietnamese together, thanks bud. And Rock, we gotta talk some more 80's heavy metal!!! You da' man... Long story short. OldManMilitia played their hearts out, as we always try to do. And as evident, we are all sore as can be, with lots of welts to prove it and quite dehydrated. We have made the R.A.W. series a staple of our schedule and consider Splatbrothers PARC our home field. Ronn, Donn, Dwight, the rest of the reffing staff and the teams and walk-ons, thanks for another great event. We'll see you in June, where I'll be making my Generaling debut at Battle for Okinawa and it will be an ALL POTATO COMMAND...SPUDCRAZY and TATER will lead the Japanese to VICTORY!!!!!.(BTW, thanks Coyote, for letting me tryout my new LAW's and getting the first American general kill of the game...that was SWEET!!!. Just too bad LilJohn wasn't in the CP, but Tater was holding the general band. I guess Tater likes to be general killed by the Spudmaster...BUT NOT FOR THE NEXT GAME...)

I thought the RATS was an acronym for Really Are Terrible Shots but I know that not to be the truth... Joking of course... As I have had time to reflect I want to thank all of the players that came out in support of the Starlite Game. Some of the teams that came to play are the best around - RATS - BeBop - Krisis - A&B - SaD - BR Wolverines - TVI - DBD - Santa's Rejects - Dark Angels - Anarchy - Combustible Chickens - OMM - OTC -and many more... If I have forgotten you or your team please forgive me... Congrats to the teams that won awards and to the players that were lucky enuff to snag a prize or two. Thanks to LilJohn and Coyote for a great game... And to Pimp for his leadership over a bunch of maniacs and yes I will still defend you Buzzy aka F-Bomb. Thanks to all of the SplatBrothers® Staff & Refs... Thanks Connie and Krystal for all of the good chow and to E-Dog for all of your teching help... Ronn as usual dood you throw a great party. There is just something about a SplatBrothers® Big Game that brings out the best in you... You make it all possible man... Don't forget the 16th of June for the next great game... The R.A.W. Series™ - Battle for Okinawa which will be the fourth game in the series - Don't miss it as the Spuds will be looking for WTF Otto & Co...

We prefer Really Active Tourettes Syndrome. ;D OR... Really Atrocious Team Smell Righteous Alcoholic Tenor Singers Really Accurate Throat Shooters Rancid rump Trichinosis Scavengers ...ok...I'm scaring myself now! Believe it or not, this is directly from a thread we had over year ago. Although it refers to an old field we use to all play at, we now just go by RATS.

Well I cant thank enough all my men on the Viet side who stood by me and Yote through the game thick and thin! I know some of you (including me) were pretty worn down toward the end of the game by the heat and constant, and very well carried out I may add, offensive by the relentless Americans and SAD. But hey, through it all we at least pulled through with a tie and I dont know what each of your all's opinions are about the game but I will have to say I enjoyed it a lot. Just having the honor of experienced teams such as OMM, A&B, Dark Angels, Anarchy, and the many other teams with us trusting me to help with the command of them is good enough for me. So I want to put my thanks out to all the Viet and to all my opponents for one of the most cleanest, sportsman games I have ever played. Also I'd like to thank SAD for coming out and showing us a good time doin what they always do best! I hope to play with each of you on the field soon (the next RAW in June is a good chance) and have another day of good ol' face mowin with you all again, my friends.

My appologies to everyone...but I had not the time or energy to go about and shake hands like I normally enjoy doing after Starlight (What with the storm on its way, and being heat drained). Anarchy had lots of fun as usual, and everyone was on top of their game on this one. Refs were outstanding as usual...and Yote and Lil' John were simply top notch. Thanks to all for another great day of 'Ballin.

I also would like to thank everyone at Splatbrothers. Operation Starlight was the best event I have had the pleasure to be apart of to date. Thanks to Don and Ronn for throwing one heck of a bash. Thank to the refs for helping me with those goofy questions I would ask from time to time. Thanks to Coyote, Trapper, and Chowda for keeping me calm through pregame jitters . And to the 3 of you for trusting such a plan to a newb. Lil'John, man your a class act, fierce competitor and a pro. I would be honored to play with, or against you anytime. Preferably with, cause I ain't looking forward to the butt wippen I'm going to get if I'm ever on the receiving end of that marker, which by the way was a very nice one ;D To all the teams on both sides. Dood you guys were relentless. I saw fierce firefight after firefight. And I saw fair play all around. I look forward to the next one. BONSAI

Boy I am glad that your son had a blast. He is the future of paintball so it is always a pleasure to have the young ones play.
As for the paint we heard some concerns but they quickly remembered that humidity & heat play a major role in the shell becoming rubbery. As you know SplatBrothers® prides itself on fresh paint. That paint arrived to us directly from the warehouse at 5:30 PM Friday - just ask some of the campers as they helped unload it...LOL
If paint is properly handled it will break most everytime...
