First off...Ducky...you are not and never will be the Ultimate weapon...
And second off...Mars...if you actually cared about the NEW players then you would have already let Ducky see some of the Generaling thing so that he could learn....then you may have to go back to the drawing board cause then my spy comment would actually mean something...but since you didn't let him in...then he knows nothing about the game!!!!!
sorry everyone...the sheep have been running too fast lately for me to catch!!!

Um...huh? Ultimate weapon for who? Themselves?
Greece was not a unified nation or empire, rather a collection of independent self governed cities and territories that shared a language and certain religious beliefs and some sort of loose affiliation only mentioned when useful. Sparta was basically a nation among others-this type of sovereign city predominated the time (and still exists today in the form of the Vatican) and thus coining the WIDELY USED term "city state" ( state being the term for an independent nation, don't think like Iowa or VA).
Saying Sparta was an ultimate weapon, thus implying they were USED or employed by others, is kinda weird, seeing as they pretty much fought for themselves and no one else (with the exception of a couple shaky alliances I won't bother going into).
Unless maybe you were referring to the fact that they could pretty much kick anyones butt?
Sorry about the rant folks, when it comes to history, I tend to get on a soapbox. And the thread needed a topic other then the ramblings plaguing the forum of late. And at least I punctuated!
And Ducky..friend...rarely are poor grades the fault of the teacher.

All right General or shall we call you "Luftwaffe", CHRONO301 respond to the call of arms hailing all the way from Hubert, North Carolina, Herr! We offer you the allegiance of our "Branderberg squad". We will arrived at camp around 0830, callsigns will be Pointman, Hothead, Truggy and Slider, ready to lend a hand where needed. We specialize on mayhem, and destruction. We will be bringing our own radios so "comms" wont be a problem. Talk to you soon, Luftwaffe.
Truggy Chrono301 Public Affairs Officer
