I am right there with you Yote...I usually don't get excited about videos of gear...but I nearly had to change pants after that one.

just make it remote controlled from someone inside the cp

just make it remote controlled from someone inside the cp Would not be allowed. It would be considered part of the marker (firing mechanism/Trigger), and would be breaking the rule of no paint ball markers allowed in the CP. After you get outside it would just be stupid to use it if it was remote control. My question is how does it negate between human target, and large shrub moving back and forth?

Ahhh but as the good Corndog was able to show against Otto in a game, holstered pistols were allowed in the CP. The part of the marker (firing control module) in the CP does not itself constitute a danger thus with the Coyote's approval could be allowed in for player safety reasons...

The pistol was allowed because it was not being fired from the CP, and in the holster it is the equivalent of having a barrel sock on. In the CP he was not allowed to unholster the pistol.

Right, it directly could not let loose with a projectile, neither could the remote for this autofiring gun, its all good.

Those arguments are why Mr. McDowell (aka Corndog) is limited to but eighteen words by the GSRP addendum for this particular game. ;D

I see...so the great director is afraid of the Corndog? Not wanting the Corndog to be able to speak and get a point across means that the Director understands that logic prevails and thus is trying to limit not just a rule in the GSRP but a constitutional law...Impressive to say the least...He must really fear the words of the Dog and the ability of the Dog to form an argument that is undeniable.
btw....Jet...Pistols aren't allowed anymore in the CP either in a holster or not...don't fully agree with that but those are the rules that are there. Used to be able to...Pickle got his stolen when he had to leave it outside the CP instead of letting it just sit in the holster.

You know guys, instead of people just using some common sense when reading the rules - an example of which is the rule that NO Paintball Markers are allowed in the CP - and then arguing that you can carry a holstered pistol into the CP because it is just like having a paintball marker with a barrel sock in place ... when in reality, a holstered pistol is still a paintball marker and ergo, should not be allowed into the CP per the rules ...
This is one reason why manufacturers have to put such stupid warnings on things like ...
Warning - Hot Coffee - Contents may be HOT !!!
Duh ...
Sorry ... involved in trying to write a simple maintenance rule for the State, and now there are TMDL limits I am dealing with ... (TMDL = Too darn Many Lawyers) ... there ain't a lick of common sense between their ears.

I would love to see things like this in the game. It would just need to have a weakness. Like shooting at it disables it or lowers the calibration. Engineers can destroy and rebuild it. It has to give the players a fair advantage.

Never said that I was arguing to be allowed to have it...simply said I don't because the rule says I can't...would like to see it change but their are too many idiots that don't know how to keep safe.

Jet...I'm glad you will make it to this game. Your insight in the game has been missed in the previous months. And Spike...I know you hate seeing me on the field...but I do enjoy your talents and perseverance out there, plus you have an unparalleled sense of humor.
