I still remember Slinky pulling me aside during dinner/movie night and saying "That huge guy scares the crap outta me-some one feed him so he stays happy."
All jokes aside, Bunker is probably the most laid back dude you will ever meet-just don't stand between him and food (btw we told him there are 10 fully cooked Porter House steaks in the Korean CP-sorry Shrub!)

wrong Ducky...you are right in saying that Korea has CITIZEN soldiers...but the USA has SOLDIERS. There is a BIG difference. Seems that we will be bringing more soldiers than you my friend.

THey dont get into scuffles with the world...because the world does not want to take on a nation where it is the law for every citizen to be armed.

What VooDoo and Slinky say is true...Sweden has a mandatory citizen militia. Because of this, every able bodied male from 18-50 is required to keep a government issue assault in his home, along with associated "battle rattle."
It is customary for such weapons to be kept in the bedroom closet, within close reach of the homeowner (which has also led to a very low number of home invasions in that country). Reason being, if Sweden is ever invaded, the attacking army will deal with well-armed, well trained fighters at literally every doorstep along the way.....Would you wanna screw with that?
And the North Korean army has an estimated 1.21 million armed personnel, which is about 20% of men ages 17-54 in the regular armed forces-and thats 20% of that age group, mind you, not the whole population. But it does have a reserve force of almost 5 million...which all together would account for about 5.7% of the national population in the armed forces. So sorry, Ian-you were wrong. But I am sure there is close to 80% of military aged men in their armed forces, so maybe you were close.
Thus endeth the sermon...
