It was nuts!!!
In honesty though, it's not our bridge. It's Aldva's bridge. He wanted it. We went and took it and once we did we never let go.
It will be renamed Downs Bridge forever more.......

I don't think I have ever shot that much paint in a single location. Even after getting my foot stuck in that root, I kept going back. Everyone there fought hard on both sides. Your right Chowda it will forever be known as Downs Bridge.

hehe....Nato, never stepped foot on that bridge the rest of the game. it took an artillery barrage to clear the rest of the guys off Apache and an insert of about 75 to clear HH. but when they did that, they left themselves open in SIM and we took that back from em! They owned NOTHING else on the field.
For those that didnt know, the siginificance. That bridge was the main artery from thier insertion point to HH/Apache. The only other way for them to get people up there was to dead drop them or go through Alpha which we owned too. It was YOUR efforts that gave us those base counts for 4 hours. That in itself was 400 points (50pts/base/hour). Which was the reason they fought you so hard. They needed those bases to win. You kept them out!
Had they been able to get to those bases, it would have been -400pts Warsaw and +400pts Nato. Nato would have won.
