Wow ... what a time we had this past week at Skirmish. Tons of fun.
We had the gauntlet thrown down at us (Ronn Stern Paintball Camps) from several directions and met and exceeded everyone's expectations.
The Ronn Stern Paintball Camps again successfully delivered a bottle of sparkling non-alcoholic wine to the American General at his command post during game play ... needless to say, his base security chief was just a tad bit upset that they allowed a live German Player inside their base security ... This was one of the gauntlets and challenges thrown on Friday night ... overcome and delivered with style of course.
We had two campers recognized onstage at the closing ceremonies for their achievements, and we assisted everyone who played in delivering a victory for the Germans against the Americans.
Wonderful time had by all ...
I don't know why, but I can't access the Skirmish photos from Ronn Stern Paintball Camps and I don't see where Mr. Stern has published any of the photos he has taken either ...
[scratches head] Don't understand, it has been greater than 24 hours since the game ended and I know that Ronn has been home for at least 12 hours ...

Somebody on PBN had the nerve to claim that Allied Base security was tight... My spelling is poor and I tried to correct them ...

From what i heard the Allied base was visited three times by Ronn Stern Camp and fellow Splatbrother players. First time was amid opening battle by Trapper who once again walked unhindered within the security perimeter of the Allied CP to deliver sparkling cider and pudding to the opposing general and was also well greeted by the XO in charge of security. The second and third time was saturday night one bieng led by the Baby Deer Squad and the other by Ronn Stern with his campers.

That is correct ... however, the Allied General has been very careful to say that his base was never "blown up", "destroyed", etc. Which is true as we never did that. We just visited, knocked on his door and said hello

The only reason why it was never blown up by any of us is because no one would tell us how

Ah, but much more fun psychologically to get inside his base security, knock on the door, say hello, or deliver a bottle of non-alcoholic sparkling wine and say courtesy of Ronn Stern Paintball Camps and the German General ...
I think that it is more devastating that way to be able to basically say ... "We can blow your base any time we want to. We just chose NOT to!"
