Hope everyone had a great time at Black Arrow. Sorry VA RUSH couldn't come out and play for this one. Sounds like it was a little different game this time. VA RUSH will be back in full force for the next game.

I would also like to say thanks for the great game, too, and apologize to one of the A&B members for blind firing instead of just admitting defeat. I don't remember which fellow it was that I shot at, but I'm glad no one was hurt by my reckless moment. And thanks to whoever it was who told me the error of my actions politely to the side.
I'm looking forward to playing with everyone again next month. ^_^

Man Summer is rough on a team of big guys. Personally it pulled the life right out of me.
Gives me even more respect for all of our troops and civilians in Iraq.
Assault & Battery had a great time at our home field. We love playing at Splatbrothers with our friends!
Ronn and Don, Way to go Guys! We enjoyed the mission release system. The game went very well. You guys are the best. Many thanks go to our good friends and the worlds greatest sponsors - THE SPLATBROTHERS!
Dustin, William, Dylan, Kyle, Ronnie, Daniel, Sam, Carl, George, James, Joanna, Lydia, Ben, Autumn, Sam, Landon and the rest of the park staff. Thank you for all you do. It's a thankless job but you guys pull it off with style. I know at least two of you took A&B rounds. We apologize and appreciate what you do.
PooPoo - You will always be amongst our favorite players and favorite targets. We love ya.
Spud and Sabot - I wish I had run with you more. We never seem to be able to get together at these games anymore. We'll have to work on that. Great to have you back! Your new teammates are great, by the way. Really top notch!
To the House of Lancaster - The Blue Team - Awesome game out there. It was awesome to see OMM and SaD back in the park. We've missed you guys. Moseby's Raiders were working their butts off too! You were great out there yesterday.
To the House of York - Never say Die! You guys fought your guts out. While we were beating down your door, you were beating down ours. All I can say to Nice job! Jesus Freaks and OFU played really well and Social Hazard remains the class of the field.
We also thank all the refs and team captains that nominated and voted for A&B to receive team awards. It is very humbling to be recognized by your peers. We were honored.
With that, Assault & Battery, the Splatbrothers Home Team, says thank you to all the teams and players for another great game. We appreciate it.

Thanks for the kind words Chowda and PooPoo, we had a lot of fun, despite the heat...
Chowda, I too wish we could have run with you all more, but OMM has gotten pretty strict in our playing style, doing what most teams don't want to do, and that is to stay covert and calculated to make it easier for the run and gun teams to do what they do best... That's kinda why we ended up staying back on your CP kill when Sickboy asked us to join you all, we wanted to head back in the brush to thwart off another side flank overrun of our own CP, which we did end up stopping... But yeah, we'll get out there again some time....
It was still great to see you all again, even in the short little quips we had here and there. You guys are definitely just like us, when it comes to the spirit of the game and the fun to be had. The thing I thought was the most awesome though, was the fact that Sickboy and BabySteak had there youngin's out there with them, especailly Baby Steaks daughter. I only wish I could get my daughter out there with me... How'd you do it???
Anyways, hopefully we'll see you all in October, if not before.
I'm still totally exhausted. I just got done throwing a half a case of paint away because it all stuck together in one big blob, despite being stored in my cooler... So you know it was a hot day...
Thanks again, Ronn and Don, for welcoming us back, it was great to see everybody again and the field looks GREAT.....

Spud I know what you mean i left my gun in the bed of the golf kart, and then the bed of truck while I was running all across the welcome center for water, and what not, and when I went to play again my hopper would not feed paint and was making a weird noise i turned it off, and my paint balls had all bonded together, and would not come apart lol. Finally zyklon came over and shook the living crap out of it until they started falling out.

I really feel led to beam in here and say a bunch of "thanks" as well, just to get them off my shoulders! First, thanks to OFU, Affliction, Jesus Freaks, and the rest of House of York. We gave it our all in heat like England would've never experienced in any battle. A BIG SHOUT OUT TO MIKEYPOOPOO, CORNDOG, and OXYFYDE!!! Without your leadership and motivational abilities, we would've been squashed all the day long. THANKS!! Chowda: I don't believe I've ever seen A & B play harder and more determined! You guys rocked my world all day. Whenever I got shot, it seemed it was by an A & B Jersey!! Well done, my friends. Red Devil, nothing but love, Bro!! You shined once again (and gave me a shiner on my forehead as well... ) Finally, I admit I made some mistakes during this game and for those I aplogize! It is my HONOR to wear the SOCIAL HAZARD jersey, doing my best to ensure I exemplify what we stand for on the field is paramount, and I always spend a week beating myself up over my "Big Game" mistakes. Paul, Josh, Joe, Alexander, Allen, Rob...you are like my brothers! Indeed, We Will Not Conform!

Guys as the Capt For Jesus Freaks as always we love to be on the field and as a newer formed team we are slowly coming together learning from our many mistakes!! As I made plenty Sat. Taking on Missions and then figuring out wait Im heading our group to the wrong spot!!lol But we still Completed it. Then pressed on to try some Tact moves and came across A&B adn well it was water break then! For the House of York always I love playing side by side with our Brothers from Social hazard. OFU haveing Corndog on my side for once is a different twist I must say. Hey and I were side by side and I thought what the heck Im going to get this tower and let Corndog push guys in place . I layed down the fire with that awsome Pinokio 400 rounds and wanted the guys to get into position and then pop i got it in the mask. Oh well it happens ! Corndog Thanks for grabing my guys and directing them when i was off the field working on others markers mostly my sons "BamBam" He is going to make it !! As to the play of the game it was very interesting some parts I loved it others I was very discouarged!! We as Jesus Freaks plan on being back !! We have way to much fun and that is the biggest part having fun!! To all the teams I may not have mentioned guys when your in the heat of the battle and I mean Heat !! I just like Having you all around! Guys Im still sore and we just kicked off our VBS at our Church First night with a head count of 650 kids yess that many and we plan on more!!
Guys take care Cool off and see ya next month! God Bless Brett "BigBrett" J Jesus Freaks

Thanks to all the teams that came out to play. If it weren't for the teams the big game would be a big dud. I have to say that I was shocked to see a attack force behind our base less than 90 seconds after the bird-banger. I belive that it was an A&B player who was laying on the ground covered in paint, just 2 feet from our C.P.. Mad props to you, Player. All in all, the morning was a slaughter, and the afternoon was all back and forth. Good game everyone!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yup... that was "HERO"...... And he had the "timer running" on the helmet cam too. With a quick look at the field, we counted it at 1:45.... but we'll have to re-calculate now that there is time. Nor sure if it actually was YOU, poopoo that shot him?. Just as he reached to touch the CP, there was one guy peaking from the front- right side of the CP that took a shot at him, he goes down, and then you're the next thing ya see in the video.

That helmet cam was wicked cool NoNeck. Can I get the specs on it??? BTW, you guys were awesome as usual. It sucks we didn't get to run with you all more, but we were doing our own woods thing that we like to do, plus, we're too darned lazy to do all the running that you all were doing. YES, I said it, you all were running!!! Atleast in our eye's it was running... LOL.

It's called a Tachyon XC. Website: -- www.tachyoninc.com/main.html I have one as well (my wife bought it as my anniversary present) I just didn't have the card yet. It's comparable in price to the Oregon Scientific ATC3k ("Stiff" from A&B has one and it's the same one Oxyfyde uses). But the Tachyon has it's pros and cons over the ATC3K. Pros - I think the video is better (and will allow up to a 32 GB card) and it has a remote. Cons - Sound is HORRIBLE because the microphone is sealed inside (no way to open the plug on the Tachyon like you can on the ATC3K) There's a youtube video that does a big comparison of like 7 helmet cams and the Tachyon was one of the highest scoring out of the 7. (if I can find it again, I'll post the link).... **Edit** Here's the link to the "Helmet Cam Review" on YouTube: www.youtube.com/watch?v=PG5HZuRKLvg(PS - Enjoy the "sountrack" while watching it. ) As for A&B ... *cough-cough*... RUNNING.... Umm... maybe you just saw us moving... DOWNHILL. You know... INERTIA!!! ;D
