Welp...I would suggest everyone to pack their wet gear. It is looking like rain ALL weekend. Be prepared.

If they say it'll be a light rain. Pack for a Downpour. If they say it'll rain all weekend, prepare for a wet week. They only get the general idea of what will happen right. Like it'll rain or it'll snow. Like the times they said we'd only get 1 to 2 inches of snow and it ended up being 1 to 2 Feet.

For those of you with open bolt markers and electros with non-water tight grips, What I have used before to protect my marker in wet weather (without changing to a mech marker that is) is this:
Take a large ziplock freezer bag and cut a bottom corner off at a 45 degree angle (big enough to slip the barrel through) then lay the bag back accross the marker and make a hole for the feed neck. Use waterproof tape (you can find it at a pharmacy in the first aid Isle) and tape shut the holes around the barrel and feedneck. This will keep water out of your circuit board and out of your bolt chamber so it doesn't freeze up on your from the water/grease combo.
Make sure that ziplock closure is on the bottom. You grip the marker inside the bag and the freezer lock re-enforces the bottom edge so it doesn't tear.
Happy shooting!
