Microsoft’s new search engine Bing excels at finding a good Hotels and flight tickets.
Unlike Google, which generally returns links to mere web sites, Bing crawls listings at review services like Hotwire.com and CitySearch. It then summarizes the results and displays a scorecard for each, rating things like service, drinks, food, wait time, lunch offerings, and so on, all laid out in a neat comparative table.
Users also Search multiple travel sites, compare airline & hotel prices, find travel deals, and receive free fare predictions on Bing Travel.
Bing really starts to shine in its Travel search. I did a quick search for airfare from Portland, Oregon to Berlin, Germany, and here's what Bing gave me:
* Non-stop or a few layovers option * Times I want to take off and land * A sliding scale for the price range I wanted * The option to compare prices in other travel search sites (Expedia, PriceLine, etc.) * The ability to track fares via email alerts; if my price goes down, I can grab the lower price. Search local hotels....and make a test drive

You have a fair point about it's capabilities at travel searches and hotels and whatnot, but keep in mind that that's not the ONLY thing search engines are used for. Let's say were searching for the name of hitler Personal bodyguard. If BING is truely a "decision" engine as it says it is, it should give me exaclty what I want on the first try.
On bing, I typed in "The name of Hitler's personal bodyguard." Now, not only was the correct anwser four links down, the first link was to wiki. Now, not only is Wiki 90% innacurate, it can be changed by anybody.
It didn't do what it was supposed to. Now, I'm not saying google is better. I'm simply stating that Bing, is way over hyped, over rated, and very dumb. It's just simply one more thing made by microsoft to rake in more money.
So, in my unnsuported opinion
B .ecause i .t's n .ot g .oogle
Is pretty un-original.
