Ahh but Sloemoe, the video was the fault of THIS management, as is the lack of prize support and player support. This was not Ronn and Don who took away the prizes, increased the fees, took away the rewards for Generals, XOs and role players, and I gave plenty of suggestions for fixing the problem. my final solution, have the current management go do what they are best at, supplying fields with gear and paint, selling players good gear at good prices, keep in mind, this same CURRENT management has supplied the paint, good and bad for the last several years. Bring back the boys who still own a portion of this company, the boys who know how to run a game and make people feel welcome, the boys who made the field what it was. This... Had it not been for Ronn, Don, and the Splatbrothers staff when I started. I would not be a avid paintballer at this point. I remember Jessie explaining to me: "Kouza your a paintballer you know what you need stop coming to me for paper towels to clean your mask." From that day, I knew this was my sport.

I miss MXS and big T, the last truly original games at splatbrothers. Since the games started being made "in house" there has simply been a steady decline in creativity that is unavoidable when your bi-annual big game is simply an expanded version of your monthly game that is produced by the same minds month in and month out. Im not saying they are unfun they just seem to bring to mind certain references to the yearly Madden football release. I miss spies. And campsite interactions. Generals actually having to outthink each other.

Apologies to all the players that have expressed concern over this field and have not gotten the response that your are entitled to. Please take time to read this post and comment as you feel needed, positive or negative.
I take full responsibility for all the short comings and failures that have transpired at Splatbrothers over the past year. As operations manager, it is my responsibility to insure that the park is successful and our customers are satisfied, which I have failed, you our loyal partner, to accomplish.
It has never been my intention to bring notice to me or the companies that I represent, however, many of the posts have made too many assumptions that should be addressed for all to see.
Splatbrothers has seen its best year ever as far as participation. We have had more new players at the park than ever before and we are booked solid for the weeks to come. Our marketing campaigns are starting to yield results as we start grooming new players for this sport that we all love. So any rumors to Splatbrothers going away is totally unfounded. However, in this process of chasing new business, we have neglected you are dedicated players. The following is an attempt to address some of the areas that have been addressed:
Hellstom DVD my apologies for offering a product that was substandard to Splatbrothers expectations. We will be offering a full refund in the form of a store credit to all players that purchased that DVD to be used at any future visit to the park. My apologies for not viewing the product until recently, and I agree with every post that has been made. I hope that all of those that purchased this product accept my apology and the refund as a statement that we want to do right by our customers.
Game Format As of the Alamo game, we used a different promoter. In an effort to try and react to the posts about repeat games and same missions, our goal was to bring a new spin to the RAW series games. The same promoter conducted both RAW games prior to Domination and will conduct the next RAW game in November. For those of you that have played these games, the feedback has been good. The missions have changed, the plots were different and we saw the return of the FINAL BATTLE which everyone asked for. I feel that we are on the right tract to fix the the problems that were presented to us.
Paint quality: for the August and September RAW games we offered Marbalizer and Premium Gold for the price of the Battle Grade paintballs, $49 per case. That was a $20 dollar savings off of our professional grade paint price per case in an attempt to reward our regular customers. The Domination game saw the return of RP Marbalizer as cheap as $50 per case. You will never be able to go to a legitimate paintball field and find RP Marbalizer at that price.
Field Layout we spent several weeks on updating and changing the towers field for the Domination game which played very well for both the night games and the Final Battle. Removing many of the old rotten bunkers and bringing in many new portable bunkers allowed for a great game for Domination. In addition, the trenches and the village were actually playable due to the fact that the grass had been cut and continues to stayed groomed.
Website updates and responding to posts. Due to circumstances beyond my control, I was unable to modify or change any information on the Splatbrothers site until approx 2 weeks prior to the Domination game. The promoters attempt to respond to questions that were posted on the forum were not backed up by actual changes on the site, which made the company look unorganized and down right pathetic. Due to this issue, it was reflected in attendance for the game. However, daily updates are being made and responses to posts are to remain active, it will not happen again.
Future Games It is Splatbrothers goal to provide the best possible experience every time you attend our park. We want to mix it up as best as possible. With that being said, Trapper Davis from A&B will be putting on our next 24 hour game in April. I don't believe that any veteran player can squabble or complain about Trapper's credentials or ability to run a game. That also leaves the door open to any other team that may be interested in doing the same. I want every team that plays at Splatbrothers to take ownership in the field to make it the best it can be, and if allowing your team to run an event or be apart of it in some manner, we will do that, we are up to the task.
R&D have always been the face of Splatbrothers, but they are not the ones that make the park what it is. You the team players are what build the excitement for others to follow and participate in. How can we rekindle that flame amongst the players of old to combine with the new to share in that same paintball experience that keep us all interested in this game?
I've reached out and spoken personally with those of you that I know personally, and I want to speak with anyone and everyone that has something to say. Feel free to PM me, reply to this post or email me direct to Bobby@firstcallpaintball.com
I will continue to try and develop Splatbrothers to its potential and I would greatly appreciate any comments you may send my way.
Sincerely Bobby Weeks

7 members active in the last 24 hours, so very sad. I remember days when it was 31 active and 15 online, with Kouza, Voodoo, Traffic, Corndog and I switching between multiple personalities on the forum just to make a post and smack talk between role player characters for weeks prior to a game. I miss the old staff. Jet is getting better, this was as of today Active Users In The Past 24 Hours Hide online 4 Staff Members, 16 Members, 146 Guests

Allright! Thanks Bobby for the updates, now it is time to play the game we all love. I still support this field whole heartedly. This place got my son started, and the people here, Oxyfide, Bluetooth, Chowda, Farva, Flair, Traffic, Rook, all have helped mold him into the honest and classy player he is today. From watching him, and his enjoyment, I got back into the game I quit playing years ago because of the quality and character of the players. SplatBrother's has always been a place that I can trust my equipment and my family to be safe at.

The field is changing and the crew here is great. The last few Big game if you missed them where very well thought out and conducted using a very set plan yet with room to adjust for the way the was being played (great job Chad). This field is a great field and will continue to be. Sometimes change is good and in this case Bobby and his staff are going to continue to make Splat Brothers the best Field around. If you have not been in a while come out, see for yourself, and then make your mind up. My boys drive all the way up from Norfolk to play here and splat brothers is the only place I play now ;D

Affliction was at the park today12 strong for some walk on practice. By 1pm the field was out of paint!? Seriously? So we pay to play at a paintball field that is field paint only and they don't have paint to sell us? We were done. Only 5 cases of premium were left for 72.00 a piece according to the blonde working the counter. And there was no snacks or food available for the ballers. The "pro-shop" looked as if it had been picked over with next to nothing on the shelves. I'm afraid Affliction is hitting the road as a nomadic team with no home field.

Sorry to see you had such a bad experience. After reviewing the logs at the end of the day, you are right, the only paint that was left was premium grade with no other options. Overwhelming participation from the day before and the day of your visit were more than what was anticipated. Good for us but bad for you. Non RAW game days have never really been big days for walk on players, thus I have never really estimated too much for extra based on walk on participation. Needless to say, paint was restocked and available on Sunday as was food, just a day too late. Again, I can only apologize for the aggravation you endured and do my best to make it right. Feel free to email me direct at bobby@firstcallpaintball.com and I will insure that credit is applied to your account to use in any manner you feel appropriate. No matter where you play now or intend to play in the future, I want to insure that you are playing. If I can help you or your team, please let me know.
