Hey guys! Its kind of a tradition on Carolinapaintballers.com and on Team BeBop's forums to post After-Action Reports (AAR) for every game we go to, so I thought I'd share mine with you and post it here The game was great, I had a really good time. An RA from my dorm (Josh, who still does not have a callsign) came up with me to play, it was his first big game. The refs were very good, especially considering they had 3 go in the hospital in the 24 hours before the game. Splatbrothers also finished the 3rd tower, it has a spiral staircase in it, a very different setup from the first 2 towers, and Ron revealed the "grand plan" for that field. I went up Friday night and met up with Spike and Vic from BeBop, Coastie from Krisis, and several of the field refs, along with the American XO. We had a lot of fun camping out, and I will have a YouTube video link for you guys soon, hehe... Severe's synopsis of the battle was pretty much true...for some reason, the enemy (whose CP was located in the little house in the middle of the Spools field) thought that the only avenue of attack was directly down the speed ravine and then up into the cinder block city, where our CP was located (the chicken coup). Despite the beating we were giving them, they did manage to get close to our CP a grand total of 2 times during the day, and I don't believe they ever actually overran it. Our team, on the other hand, was on their CP virtually the entire day. We led continual assaults up from the speed ravine, to the Splatbrothers house, and then broke out onto the spools field. Almost everytime, and usually totally unplanned, another force was assaulting from the direction of the POW camp and the castle up that hill, and we had no idea they were there. I went straight up the hill by the speed ravine twice, and then up through the POW camp to the enemy base twice, so I participated in no less than 5 assaults on the enemy CP, all of which were successful. The final battle this time was not as much fun as I was used to. The enemy team started on the road/barn side of the towers, and we started on the far side. The enemy was closer to the towers, and as a result made it there well before us. The shooting gallery that followed for the next 15 minutes was very discouraging...because of the netting under the catwalk, the enemy could just hold their guns up over the nets and fire, so it was impossible for us to get close to them that way, since the trench field is wide open for almost 50 yards with only 2 or 3 pieces of cover on each side. We tried to flank them through the woods several times, but because a lot of the enemy were coming back in from the parking lot, they would see us, tag in at spawn, and then come around with a larger group and overpower us (again, because they had solid cover and we had nothing but thin trees). About 45 minutes into the battle, one of the strangest things I think I've ever seen happened. The enemy just left the field. And when I say they left the field, I mean they were just gone. I was standing in the open between the big tower and the new one, and I couldn't even hear guns firing. There were a handful of enemies near Cheeseburger hill, but no others in sight...it was pretty creepy, actually. Overall, the game was a lot of fun, and I was glad I came. Josh said he will definitely be making more of these. Thank you RATS, BeBop, and Krisis for coming out, the Coalition was strong yet again! Thanks to Don and Ron for running another good game like this, I'm looking forward to more RAW series games (hopefully I can make them)!

OTTO...I Regret to say that they did all dead me in that CP once...however I had managed to get that General Band out of there and into safer passages(Thank you Devastator for running away!). They did all dead but the General Kill was avoided(yet again thanks to Devastator and his Girlish running abilities!!!lol). But yes it was a great game. And before I close out I would just like to say...OTTO WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Otto:
Thanks for your post and your attendance! It was great talking with you Friday evening! That's one of the really nice things about paintball events that have overnights included. A chance for players to talk and get to know on another before trading paint on the field.
Can't wait to see you guys again!

Ronn and Don...Thanks again for setting up another awesome game. To the Generals and players, great playing, and awesome sportsmanship all around. To the refs. a double thankyou. You all stepped up this weekend. There always seemed to be a ref whenever a gunfight broke out. Even in the middle of the woods.
As always great field, great players, great game. Thanks again.

Well,
I have to agree with all my fellow "Bawlerz" out there. This was truly a great game, full of great players, and great teams.
Chowda: Thank you for allowing me to assist you in your conquest. I had a blast running around the field without a marker. I could not have done anything without the players and teams under me, who stepped up to any challenge I asked of them. I thank all of you.

Hehe, I think a lot of people out there had no idea what was going on, especially if you were Chinese Okay, that was just mean... I know both of you were first time Generals. My first time as General was a fairly dismal disaster...but that is a very long story in and of itself! I hope both of you decide to do it again, it is so difficult to find good and experienced Generals and XOs. Would you do it again?

in a heartbeat (provided that i can devote adequate time to preparation and recruitment , lol. Besides, that was my first time, and from leading a squad all over the field to sitting down and directing traffic was a big change. so now i know, and so does Chowda (not to speak for him or anything) But, i'm pretty sure we'd both do that again. Couldn't play against a nicer, more worthy guy.
