TANK DRIVERS
There has been a large interest in our games expressed by tank owners and drivers.
To consolidate many things they are required to know, below is information that explains insurance, where to find the rules we'll be playing by for this particular event.
INSURANCE:
Any type of vehicle - golf cart, 4-wheeler, mower, vehicle, etc. - is required to have liability insurance carried on each tank driver.
The minimum liability coverage is $300,000.
All tank drivers must have and bring a valid driver license from their state.
Send a copy of your insurance certificate 7 days prior to the event to:

VEHICLE and OCCUPANT REQUIREMENTS:
* A description of vehicle tank requirements and rules governing players who will be shooting from within the tank can be found within the General Scenario Rules of Play (GSRP), located here: www.scenariopaintball.com
* Any tank with a static-mounted air source (for Nerf cannons), must be strapped down inside the vehicle.
* Players who will be shooting personal markers from the tanks MUST be chronoed to the FPS specified in the GSRP.
* Any tank occupant who is exposed to enemy fire and is hit with a breaking paintball must plug his marker and await reinsertion by the tank. Gun hits do not count on the tank occupant.
* EVERY tank must have and supply their own tank "walker." This is a neutral person who does not carry a paintball gun or acts as a player, who serves as an extra set of eyes for the tank driver. The Walker certifies tank elminiations by Nerf round impacts; keeps the tank from encroaching within 20 feet of players, and verifies obvious paint grenade splatter to eliminate the tank. This person is to be a "walker" only and not carry or act as a cameraman or in any other capacity except to maintain an area of safety for the player(s).
The tank walker MUST provide his own SplatBrothers® approved garment which will easily identify him to all players and referees as a neutral participant.
* Every tank MUST have a dead-flag indicator that can be raised and lowered by the driver.
* Every tank MUST display their side's team tape on the tank, as outlined in the GSRP.
* All tanks MUST be inspected by the SplatBrothers® Ultimate Judge before entering the field.
* All tanks MUST have an external kill switch.
* Tank are not to go faster than a person can walk.
GAME SPECIFIC:
* Tanks can be taken out with unaltered Nerf rounds by event-approved LAWs, and stalled for 5 minutes by event-only paint grenade splatter.
* Tanks may not approach within 150 feet of the enemy base.
* Tanks may not park on the field. Tanks are to continue to move, stopping only long enough to line up a shot and fire.
* There will be no tanks at night.
* If the tank driver cannot see due to paint splatter and breaks, he must come off field to clean his viewing area.
* Tanks may carry 10 Nerf rounds per insertion.
* The primary tank driver will have his entry fee and a case of paint comped by SplatBrothers®. All primary tank drivers MUST pre-register for the game and identify themselves to Ronn 7 days prior to game day. Limited to one driver per tank.
