The battles are fought and the war is once again won. Now that actions have ceased, whats left is the memories and anticipation for what is coming. For myself, I prefer to remember the good in what has happened and learn from what I would rather not remember. So I shall not meander through the same ashes that have seemed to have burned those before me.
Personally, I would like to thank Mushroom for talking me into XO’ing for him this game. I was hesitant to XO for the first time. His Debut as General and my first time in the CP period, had given rise to a terrible vision. The thought of a sightless greenhorn, being led around a battlefield by someone raised on dung in total darkness does tend to question ones rationale.
However much to my relief, his pre battle preparations were tireless. His sportsmanship, professionalism, candor and knowledge were flawless. I would gladly follow his lead in the future and look forward to slinging paint with him for a long time to come. Well deserved was the MVP to Pickle. This guy truly knows the ins and outs of the CP, game rules, tactics and strategies. It was surely a pleasure to learn from him.
On the battlefield: Too many people and teams to name them all. There is never a day goes by that I regret my time on the field trading paint with the teams and players at Splatbrothers Parc. I would like to give Kudos to Dink on TSSOC, for the mission he pulled off on the backside of Tower field. Next time I will look for you 15 minutes earlier. Great job. Matt on Blackknights, The guy was everywhere I asked him to be, his comms were impeccable and hes an excellent Demo man to boot! You can run with us anytime.
Splatbrothers: Ronn , outstanding on game command. I really like my new perspective in the game and the way things ran. Don…man I don’t envy your job. You and I talked the day before the game and both thought that you had all your ducks in a row….So much for planning!!! The refs as always were on top of their jobs. I and SoVa will be back for DOTI and many more to come.
