I just wanted to say thanks to all the players. I had one of those moments in life that you never would trade for anything. I had to honor and privilege to command 200 players on the field of battle, and while the result was not what I had hoped for, it was worth every second of pain and frustration.
To all my players, THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart. You guys showed me what I had forgotten about, playing with heart and once I was reminded what I was there for we came back with a vengeance.
To Coastie, and the enemy, it was a hard fought game and we punched back every time you punched us, just not as hard. You guys had me running around all game putting the "fires" out every time you guys were about to over run us. I salute you guys for really putting me to the test and showing me that I have the true colors to stand up to that beating, even though you achieved the victory.
To my players, I will make good on my promise of returning to the generalship of a 26 hour game next year, and I hope to see all of you guys line up behind me for another run at the victory.
To my enemies I look forward to seeing you again as general at the 26, hope some of you will play for me, and caution the others too look out, I'll be coming with a vengeance.

Team Indecent eXposure would like to thank everyone both enemy and ally for a spectacular weekend of paintball. Pickle, you did a fine job and it was an honor to serve under your command. I look forward to it again next year. Coastie, the only relief I got from "suicide runs" was the night play when I got to sit in your back trench for about an hour on your base security or lack thereof. However I was abruptly reminded of the enemy's strength on my first trip in when I think I sponged up at least 3 cases of paint trying to clear the spools. To A&B and SSK - www.youtube.com/watch?v=uiJuYqRKmkQ&feature=related I've never been shot there that many times in a single game. From the first 5 hits when I ran the spools to the critical hit I took on "Operation Human Shield" during final battle. Please I beg you for the sake of my children AIM HIGHER! Thanks to OFU, Social Hazard, and SoVA for the camaraderie during the weekend, including royally screwing that Pizza Hut again. I mean seriously how many waitresses do we have to apologize to. lol Thanks, Cowboy P.S.~ Go OFISHE!

Big Country is doing fine, he has a cast for the next 5 days, but no surgery. From what I'm told, he is already looking forward to getting back out there and kicking more butt, and hopefully not going to the hospital after the next game.

Pickle, despite the outcome you did good. You hung in there and I'm sure learned from the experience. It is good to know that it a took a Tank to assasinate me. To ALL the players I had a great time during day play, for night play please attend the rules briefing or at least read the GSRP. Itengrity at night is key. Everyone I saw out there both German and Allied foguht and played hard, but please everyone keep it honest.

Real tired right now - Operation Onslaught was a good time that has left us all sore, tired, out of money, and victorious - but more important, we got to spend a weekend playing some of the best paintball with 400 stand-up paintballers... SSK always enjoys Splat Brothers, the field is great but the people that attend are what makes it outstanding!
When Splat Brothers hosts a 2-day event - it is a must attend! The 2 day events bring teams from all over and this was no different. Teams were in attendance from as far north as Rhode Island (PUB CRAWLING) and as far south as Wilmington, North Carolina (PORT CITY MILITIA). The scenario piited the Americans against the Germans in a war of wills - who would be victorious would be anyone's guess but one thing for certain, there were 2 high-caliber players selected to general each side. The Americans would be led into battle by PICKLE of OFU and the Germans pledged their loyalties to COASTIE of THE OUTLAW CREW.
The recruiting had been done, plans made, strategies discussed; yes, the stage was set for 2 days of paint-slinging.
Heavy hitting teams fell on both sides of the tape. The Americans were joined by SOCIAL HAZARD, OFU, DEATH DEALERS, CAPITAL OFFENSE, SOVA, ISH, AFFLICTION, USS THEODORE ROOSEVELT'S TEDDY BEARS and many more. The Germans took the field with OUTLAW CREW, PORT CITY MILITIA, SEEK & DESTROY, ASSAULT & BATTERY, SOUTH SIDE KILLAZ, PUB CRAWLING, BEBOP, THE RATS, & FRACTURE (represented by Josh Silvermann) to name a few.
I apoligize if I left any teams out - I have no doubt I was shot by all of you based on the bruises I have today.
The weather was perfect for paintball and both teams took the field anticipating the bird banger. Missions started on both sides immediately and field control was critical. The Americans brought their "A" game and by "A" game I mean tanks. Lots of tanks. I saw 4 but accounts of the game had that count as high as 7. The Germans had no tanks so for those of you keeping score, that's 7-0 in favor of the Americans. ***Well played Americans - every push forward by the Germans was met with tanks. Seems they couldn't go anywhere on the field without running into one. I saw a lot of great sportsmanship being exhibited by players on both sides of the tape and enjoyed talking with everyone off the field. Congrats to all the teams and people recognized for their efforts this weekend. Everyone played hard and hopefully had a good time as well.
Thanks for the crew from PINOKIO HOPPERS for coming out and supporting the event. It was great to see them again and learn of all the new exciting things they are up to.
Thanks to DOC (SSK) and Harvey (friend of SSK) for their help with the 2 injured players this weekend. Hope they are both doing better now and will be back on the field shortly.
Especially thanks to the teams we shared the blue tape with. SAD - you guys were all over the place, hope Cody Brown is doing better now - I know he had a weekend full of badluck... PORT CITY MILITIA - Thanks for making the trip up. Hope we can work a lot more games where we team up. Have a safe trip home. COASTIE and the OUTLAW CREW - thanks for the great game. It was everything we had hoped it would be. PUB CRAWLING - class act as always - hope to see you all in Charleston in November. A&B - you guys came out in force - I never even knew you had that many team members - glad to see you all on the blue side. Well deserved awards to SICK BOY and the whole team. BEBOP - we camped across from you all and I think SSK will have to look into a corndog maker now as well! Found myself on a good number of missions with you all - really great playing alongside you guys.
SOVA- We love running with you guys - not sure how it happened we were opposites this time around but you guys are top notch competitors and stand up ballers -
SOCIAL HAZARD, OFU, AFFLICTION, CAPITAL OFFENSE - You guys go everywhere regular players don't and put up one heck of a fight! Let's figure out how to team up for some of these. It would be nice to be on the other side of tanks and NVGs one time. Death Dealers, Smoke & Mirrors, Psych Ward - well played! hope to see you all more often.
Only one casualty to report from the SSK camp: we did lose one of our PE tents to a gust of wind on Saturday (I know, we should have used stakes) - we recovered it but it is now a 3-legged tent... anyone know where to get replacement legs?

I'm first aid and CPR certified and Ronn told me if I ever heard a whistle to head towards the incident, but every time there was a sieze fire, I was always at the other end of the field. Hope everyone who got hurt heals up nicely. It sucks to hear about people getting hurt. I heard the order to sieze fire twice, but I guess there were 3 incidents. That seems like alot for only 600 or so players.
