Ok I am going to say it. The lazy leadership has led to rules being adjusted on the field to allow that leadership. Used to be if you went in blind....you lost Kouza....I effing LOVE you LOL. and then after the game me and farva can go to goood ole wendy's lol LOL, those were good times brother! Unfortunately, since Sasquatch left, Willow and I have jumped on the Pizza Hut bandwagon HARD, LOL. You can meet us there, though!

Also Splatbrothers needs a boat. The swamp has a boat, and I got to jump on it and yell "IM ON A BOAT! IM ON A BOAT!"

It isn't Kouza's decision as of right now...He has bigger priorities and more important things that he is working on. But have no fear to all you Kouza lovers out there...he will be in that box in the future.

If you want people to step up, then people need to stop saying that in order to be a general you need x amount of time in the CP. People will not get the experiance at this rate. Also people need to stop saying if the general dosnt have x amount of time i wont play. That makes people even less incline to step up. You want generals then you need accept whoever steps up, and help them anyways you can. If you end up losing don't go well if they had x amount of time in cp BEFORE this game we might have won. instead tell them your thoughts on where they might get better in a kind and respectful way.

Agreed. The first time I acted General I had no prior C.P. experience. And I did just fine. As a matter of fact, the largest # of people I had commanded before that was 6, and that was on a computer game . So, the point I'm trying to make is: Everyone should at least try acting General. Even if it's only once, even if you don't like the idea of playing a commanding role, try it. No one says you have to act General every game thereafter. As far as myself, I have no problem acting General twice in a row if needed. Although, I am unsure if I can make this upcoming game. So, I am undecided.

It's not hard at all to get experience in the CP before you general. Be someone's XO. Every single one of the good generals here have done the same thing. There's no excuse to not have experience. Why do you think Corndog won't let Kouza and Donkey general? He wants them to XO first. There's just no excuse for not having any sort of experience. I don't disrespect the dudes that are doing it blind-at least they did SOMETHING. But I do think a game lacks something when neither general has no time in the CP at all. At the very least, they should chose an experienced XO to help guide them through the process. I've done that with more than one new general-Fireball, Anamal, and Baby Steak just to name a few. And I know most of us with experience are ALWAYS willing to XO for a new guy who wants the help. I personally do it for anyone who asks as long as my team approves. Even a veteran general to coach them through the process is very helpful. Remember, game day is the END of the general process-it SHOULD start the day it's announced with recruiting and planning. When that doesn't happen, games suffer. Teams get switched to different sides, no one really has a plan so everyone is frustrated-trust me, it's different. I respect your opinion Sam, but I have to disagree. That being said, I wish Leroy and Joker all the luck in the world. Leroy has a team captain who is very knowledgeable about command, having been a field commander for many games. Joker has a captain who is a CP veteran, and is himself a successful general. If either of you two dudes need ANY help from me, feel free to ask. Thanks for stepping up, guys!

Ronn and Don announce the Generals immediately when 2 peeps step up. The longer players drag their feet and don't volunteer the longer it takes us to make the announcement. To be fair the generals should not start recruiting their teams until after the announcement. Take this game for example - You have 4 days to recruit... not a real long time.
If you want to General and are apprehensive both Ronn and myself are there to help you. Will-I-Am is also more than happy to assist and encourage.
What with the benny's connected to being a General at SplatBrothers® I would think we would have a list of names waiting to General any game... Thoughts?
-Don
