Hey everyone. I just joined these forums and recently started playing paintball (2 months, 4 backyard skirmishes, and one day at Splatbros ago). I'm assembling a team of 7 friends and fellow JROTC cadets and had a few questions.
1. How will they choose who goes on what side? 2. Can i keep my team together on the same team? 3. I've seen that you can register online but whats the link to do it? 4. Can you register as a squad? 5. ARE THERE REALLY GONNA BE TANKS AND MORTARS?!

(NOTE: The CO of AMERICAN TEAM IS ROTC TOO!) 2.Yes 3. www.splatbrothers.com/marketgarden.htm4. Yes 5. They are available, but i think american team only has 50 , oh wait shroom is near, and can read this?..... We have no tanks (lol no we really dont) For the most part no one wants to lug a tank up, for a 8 hour scenerio.

Congratulations on your new team. You will have a blast playing scenario games. It is one of the few sports where people on the other team will do whatever they can to help you out with any problems. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to stop and ask any team you see. They will answer to the best of their abilities. The best thing about scenario games is win or lose you will have a great time.

Mcblue, Glad to here you and your friends are coming out. 1. You can choose which ever side you would like, although if you do choose the inferior American forces, you are taking a tremendous risk. 2. The easiest way to make sure your team stays together is to pre reg as a team. Also, If you pre reg as a team you can also order your paint as a team. Once you get above three cases you will start to get discounts (with the biggest discount coming once you reach 10 cases.) If you have never played scenario before, (depending on what you are shooting) you may want to start with about two cases per person. 3. Here is the link to register for Market Garden. When you get to the part where it says to leave comments, that is where you will put which side you want to play for. Also, you may want to include the names of all the people that are registering and your team name. It makes checking in a lot easier since they will put all of your players passes and paint coupons in the envelope they will give you. You will also want to print out the field waiver and fill it out before you leave home, so if there are any minors, their parents can sign the waiver without having to come to the field. Make sure you also state in the pre reg form if you need rental equipment as well. 4. yes, you can register as a team. 5. For this game (without going in to too much detail) you will see many things that you wont see in your normal day of paintball. You will see rocket launchers, grenades, maybe some land mines. But I'm willing to bet that there will not be any tanks this time around. I cost too much to offset the price of an 8 hour game. I can guarantee you will see them at the Day of the Immortals game in April. Along with alot of things you never thought you would see at a paintball game. Being as I am a former JROTC student my self, and am currently Active Duty Military, I can honestly say that since you are used to a certain rank and file of following a chain of command, you should be a great asset to which ever team you choose to play for. Hope to see you out there. Mushroom

Wow, thanks guys for all the help, my team and i are really psyched for this thing. Too bad there aren't gonna be any tanks but ill try to get us out there for day of the immortals. I'm still trying to get everyone to register and ill probably let everyone know tomorrow at school. Lastly, you tell them, in the comments box when your purchasing your registration, what paintballs you want to buy and they'll reserve the cases? or you buy them online and they hold them till you come to get them?

You can order paint in the boxes below the registration box (field grade, mid-grade, top-grade) you have to pay for it when you order on line. If you decide to get paint when you get to the field, it's first come first serve. The more you order online, the more you will save. So if you have seven guys coming and they all want two cases each, if you order on line before the deadline, you can get top grade paint at field grade prices.
