As having played both R.A.W. games from the same CP (The TOWERS CP) I can honestly say this... The location of the CP's is evenly balanced. Now many of you just went, "HUH?!?!.. No they're NOT!!! This guy doesn't know what he's talking about." Just give me a second of your time and hear me out. During Inchon, the Koreans backed us into a corner as they took control of Trenches, Cheeseburger, and Held the area behind trenches. I left that game thinking, "Man... these CP locations are NOT fair!!! I would've much rather been at the CP 1/2 way down the hill at spools." During Market Garden, I got to see "The Other side of things", as the Germans backed the Americans into the corner by controlling, Spools, POW, and Castle. I heard many people saying, "Man... These CP locations are NOT fair!!! I would've much rather been at the tower CP." So, there is both sides of the "The CP's aren't Fair" Argument, from someone who has been both on the GIVING and RECEIVING end of a good WHOOPIN' operating out of one particular CP. It doesn't matter Which CP you're assigned to, and it doesn't matter WHERE the CP is located... If you can't take and hold enough ground to allow your forces freedom of movement... it will be an uphill battle the rest of the day. i agree with you! they were fair, because if they were able to overrun our cp the same way, there is no cover there either, but i dont think there should be too much cover at a CP anyways. I was wondering, why didnt the Americans ever get Hot Insert when their CP was taken over. Because then they could've respawned whereever and the game would've evened back out, right?

No such thing as hot inserts at SB anymore. The refs automatically back any opfor away from your CP by 125 feet, then let you insert normally.

Whew, this is precisely why OMM doesn't pursue sponsorships... Not that there's anything wrong with it, it's just that without sponsorships, we can do and play whenever we want and can put OMM and paintball FIRST!!! But then again, you all get to have ALL the cool toys ... [stepping down from pedestal ] As I said, we took the photo during the mandatory break that was established by Splatbrothers. So the time we chose ( ) should have allowed us to miss no paintball action whatsoever. Playing paintball always comes first, but you still need to set aside your free time to satisfy those who support you and give you the opportunity to play the game you love at peak level.

Hind sight is 20/20 but I wonder if a 'para drop' would have been granted to the American forces as a way to get back on the field without using the word 'Hot Insertion'. They certainly needed it.
The pulling OpFor off the CP 125 ft/yds didn't really do much but create a count down to another fish-in-the-barrel shootout. I think it would have been great if the Germans suddenly found 50+ Americans in Cinder Block city a time or two.
I understand why Hot Insertions are frowned upon but in the interest of a good game, I feel that being a little creative/flexible about getting a team back in to the breech benefits the whole of the game.
I don't worry about the established teams as much as I worry about all of the walk-ons who had to endure the constant siege of their CP. We want them all to come back to another 480+ person game!

do you know what a ref has to do when a hot insert is called....
fend off crazy paintballers that freak out at any hint of such an insert.
thats a reason its been taken away and there are many more

I will be the first to admit that the paint was a huge factor in the game. And since there were so many outside factors, I would like to ask BUFF-N-STUFF for a rematch.

I want to thank both TSSOC and Yankee Division for making the long haul down for an 8 hour game. I talked to Chops and Beerman a little bit and it was nice not to be the only person talking correctly for a change. Hey Beerman do me a favor? Get a pie at the Town Spa or Cape Cod Cafe and devour the thing!!! I'd appreciate it

I had a blast. There is a reason I keep going back to Splatbrothers and that's because the field and the players are awesome. I had to stand in line for a squeegie for slightly longer than I'd like to, but hey, if that's the worst thing that happened to me then I'd call Saturday a success. I had a blast playing alongside of the A&B and Anarchy guys this time rather than the usual shoot at them. It was good to see faces I hadn't seen in a while and I'm looking forward to DOTI. Oh and check this out. Making a one man charge on the fort behind the American CP earned me this gnarly neck shot. Looking back, if I had to do it again, I'd do it in a heartbeat. So much fun. I love this game After it was cleaned up. You should see the looks I'm getting at school.

Nice hickey Prodigy! Seriously though, it was awesome running a bunch with Krisis. You and Otto really made it a fun game for me personally. We'll have to do it again soon. BTW, a younger player (walkon I think) asked who the A&B guy with the big cannon and pistol was. I explained who you were and that you played on Krisis. He said," Oh............I thought all the big guys were on A&B" Made me laugh ;D. You may have to become an honorary Knee Breaking Goon.
